Toon Army NYC’s origins go back to the early 2000s, when a few of our members started to build a community of Newcastle United supporters in New York City.  After initially meeting at different football bars in the city, the group found a dedicated home at Peter Dillon’s 36th Street in 2020.  Fergal and Sean from Peter Dillon’s have worked to create an atmosphere on matchdays that is second to none outside of Tyneside. On match days we have visitors from not only from Newcastle, but also Toon Army faithful from all over the world. You’ll always find a group of lads and lasses gathered at what we affectionately refer to as the Gallowgate end of the bar leading Newcastle chants, loud and proud.   We’ve also adopted Eddie Howe’s tradition of taking a group photo following the team’s victories.  If you’re a Newcastle fan traveling to New York City, Peter Dillon’s 36th Street is a must visit destination.
