Toon Army Minnesota was a group that started back in April 2015, I (Keith Morioka) started this group after being inspired by my friend Mark Stephenson, told me about how Toon Army Chicago started, and that I should do that for Minneapolis. So, I did. But I decided to name it for Minnesota, as I was getting interest from not just Minneapolis, but Duluth and even Hayward, WI. So, we just wanted the group to be inclusive of the whole area and not just Minneapolis, even though our home pub is located in Minneapolis. We started off small, but we have grown immensely after the take over, as a lot of Toon supporters have come out of the woodwork, leaving behind the Ashley years. We even have the Great John Tudor among our supporters, who came over to coach youth football over here in Minnesota after retiring from football! Hallelujah John Tudor!
